If you are a free user, you get 2 months free, but they take your credit card info and start charging you $10/month after the 2 months. The way it works is that, as a Plus subscriber, you keep paying your $5/month for 6 months, and at the end of that, they boost you up to $10/month to continue Premium. Which they would need to be able to do, in order for them to handle the free trials the same for all different methods of paying. They cannot manage the subscriptions made through Google Play or iTunes. On the other side of things, I understand the technical issues of this kind of thing. Its completely shitty, and the issue of managing expectations should have been handled better. The issue here is you have to wait until your subscription through iTunes/GooglePlay expires to be able to re-subscribe directly though the pandora website, THEN contact support for an invite.
